My grandmother owned a noodle factory for over 60 years, supplying noodles to small food carts across Jakarta as her way of supporting local families. She later passed this craft down to my mother, who continued the tradition and keeping our family’s noodle legacy alive.

Where our story began...
Nainai began in 2020 as Nainai Noodles, born from a love of noodles inspired by their grandmother.
As word spread, Indonesians in Toronto began asking for the dishes they missed most, like rendang, nasi goreng, gulai, and the comforting flavors they grew up with.

LISTENING TO THE COMMUNITY, THEY EXPANDED THE MENU
Refreshed their name and logo, and proudly became NaiNai Indonesian Food, a place where Indonesians could find the dishes they would been craving, and where everyone else could fall in love with them too.

Now a chef and food entrepreneur, Elita brings Indonesia’s comfort food to Canada with warmth and pride.

That belief has remained with her from childhood kitchens in Jakarta to her life today in Toronto.
